Accessibility statement
Volt & Vine Electric wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or other assistive technology.
The standard
This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. It was made by Local Pro Kit from a template that is tested before any change to it is published.
What is tested
- An automated accessibility test (axe) runs on every page of the template at phone and desktop sizes, against the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules. A change is not published while it finds any problem.
- Pages are checked at screen widths from 320 to 1280 pixels: no sideways scrolling, and no text cut off.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to tap.
- The phone number is a tap-to-call link near the top of the page on phones.
- The pages work without JavaScript, and nothing moves for people who ask their device to reduce motion.
- Form fields have visible labels, and if a request can’t be sent, the page lists what to check.
What we know isn’t perfect
- The words and photos on this website come from Volt & Vine Electric. Some photo descriptions may be short.
- Pictures made with AI are marked “Illustration”.
- The test is automated plus checks of the template’s layout, size and motion. It has not yet been checked by an outside accessibility auditor or tested by screen-reader users on this site.
